Proudly Flying American Flags June 11, 2020
With help from my oldest brother, we finally got our American flags flying proudly on John's house and on mine. You'll see we wore our masks and were properly social distancing at John's house.

John's house is ready for
June 14 - Flag Day!

My dad's birthday was on 6/14.
He liked to joke that it was
so nice for everyone to fly their
flags on his birthday.

My house!  I am so happy to fly this flag.  The other day while I was walking in my neighborhood, I was disappointed to see just a handful of homes flew flags.  I stopped to chat with one woman and her daughter who were sitting on thier porch.  I told her what I noticed about the lack of flags. I thanked her for displaying hers. I told them about my dad's b'day being on Flag Day.  I kid you not...the daugher said her dad's b'day was June 14th as well.  I left smiling thinking that my dad was with me on that walk that day. I'd love to see more homes display the American flag. A lot of good is happening these days after some dark times.

Let's show our Ameri-CAN unity.

The fine line between

Panic and Calm

Peace of Mind.

This strange time of "sheltering in place" has given people time to reflect. In a sense, it has given us the Gift of Time for solitude, more time with family, exercise, and just basic time that was once spent in the rat race.

In life before Covid, many of us tried to fit many more hours of activity (work, meetings, family time, hobbies, sports, housework, errands, etc.) than could really fit in a 24 hour day.  The list goes on and on, running on fumes to "get it all done". This pace of being on a never ending merry-go-round takes its toll on our health, sleep, and relationships.

A friend and I were talking recently that this time has allowed us to reflect on how busy we want to be when life so called goes back to the new normal. Maybe we don't want to attend so many business functions or belong to so many groups, have so many commitments, and maybe just schedule some much needed "me time".  We have a chance to do a reset or start over.

You may have decided you do have things that must get done but now realize you can delegate some of the tasks on your To Do List.  This allows you to focus on what is truly most important. A Single Ray of Hope's Personal Assistant & Concierge Service is here to help with that delegation.  We are a trusted and insured business that has been servicing southwest Michigan since 2006. Browse our website to see the wide array of services we offer and schedule a time for us to chat about giving you some Peace of Mind.
